painted perry british riflemen
« on: January 14, 2010, 01:49:29 PM »
just finished my perry rifles,

a comparison shot with the Hat french light infantry voltigeurs i painted previously

a remarkably similar size and mix very well.

i'll be using them in 'song of drums and shakos' as soon as my british line are finished.

regards

jim

Very nice.  :)

And yes, they do match very well with the Hat ones.

The HAT dude ends up looking like a little, wee man.

You've chosen a lovely shade of green for the rifles. I'm not normally a big fan of the layering style of painting, but it looks very effective here and that just shows that properly done it's just as gorgeous as other styles.

I'd like to see more of the voltigeurs!

I finished a few of my british line last night, so i'm taking the photos now and will post them up soon,

that'll be everything i need for my first Song of Drums and Shakos game which i'm trying to get in this week at my club.

regards

jim
