Happy New Year one and all.

Don't usually post pics of unpainted stuff - apologies to those sick of WIPs - but I was rather chuffed with the results of my first attempt at what was for me a fairly big conversion!

I have NO idea what it is supposed to represent, but it looks rather cool! Nicely done. The figures work very well together.

THe way you cut down the head of the Pterosaur looks clean and well done. And I like the little reins to steer the beast. Nice detail.

Its legs aren't too bad a match for the Silurian (apart from having 4 toes!) and of course they sit nicely in the existing saddle on the Pterosaur. Only slightly fiddly bit was to cut round the tail as I wanted to keep the Lizard warriors torso as intact as possible for future use.

Looking good and a great idea for a conversion!  Must read that book 

I'm looking forward to seeing him painted up. I'm sure the "wrong legs" will look fine once painted, as they are probably the last thing most people will look at. As it is they don't look wrong at all to me and anyone who complains about the number of toes really does need a check-up

Anyway - haven't quite finished the base - just ordered some brass tropical plants from Hasslefree to get the London reclaimed by jungle look!

didn't manage to find a decently retro t-rex... have a couple of nano-tyrannasaurs, but they don't have that 70's feel...

was the first NA I bought... is a really good read, lots of references to Who history outside of the Silurians (Weather Control on the moon off the top of my head)... technically part of an alt futures trilogy as the timelines should never have happened and someone has been tinkering, but the story is completely self contained...

I've been hoping either the Silurians or Sea Devils would appear in New Who. I'm hoping Stephen Moffat is a fan 

I have some Silurians and also dinos I use for VSF type games, so this might be a good idea to form the basis for a game.
