Mine is unmade, Bullshot has one made that looks rather nice, however my superior British very nearly damaged it! If you are a member of the GASLIGHT Yahoo group there is a photo in the photo albums. (Of course it was not the varient with turret, although he added a nice little turret)

Because of the fragile nature of the "claws" it is probably best to mount it on a circular cake dish, as Bullshott has done.

I have just been finishing odds and sods, 28mm VSF, and this thread has spurred mne on to make my spider!

So from what I gather one should expect one or two broken pieces, and perhaps a small casting error, however the pure awesomeness of the model more then makes up fort hat?

Mine arrived in tip top condition, but reading the threads it seems this has not always been the case. However once made and painted it does look impressive, although as the French Marshall C'eme Lobon might say,

"it is merely a spider and spiders get squashed"

I believe the early models sufered in transit due to the type of resin used and the packaging. I believe Curtis at Ramshackle is using a different resin now and has taken care of the packing issues.

Its a beautiful model and huge. Its quite daunting to see it on the table coming towards you, even more so when its armed to the teeth and has in impenetrable hull

Aye. It was present on BLAM I. It is a behemoth one pales to meet even in its 28mm scale.

I reccomend it strongly. I had a couple of small breaks and tiny casting errors but they are only really noticeable when you look at them in isolation.

Put together, the model is a complete beast and dominates the tabletop. I've not finished painting mine up yet but it has already taken to the field in a game of 40k (rules and report on my blog here http://ghostnebulae.blogspot.com/search/label/Battle%20Report).

I really like the model and I'm looking forward to putting it into a game of Nuclear Renaissance when the new rules come out from Ramshackle Games.

I'd definitely recommend buying this model if you like big, cool vehicles that few others will have.
