No need to aplogise - you can't get a Yorkshire pizza yet :~}

Hmmm... I wonder, though, if you could combine a Yorkshire Pudding base with Italian cheese and meats (proper salami sausage, for example).

I remember very well the excitement when the first wheels were released. About 45 years ago...
As well as a kind of "rotating plate", round, approximatively 4x4, white.
Do you remember it?

Marco

Definitely not as ancient as an old salt, such as yourself, but I do have a heap of those things somewhere. There was even some with grey rubber tyres, all of which are cracked and partly stiff with age.

Those aquanauts look pretty spiffy though. Maybe a good base for a Lego version of Terror from the Deep?

My mum got me some Indiana Jones Lego for Christmas....  :D

My lad has several sets including spare Indies. He gave me one as he knows how much I love the whole Indy thing  :D

If anyone hasn't played the Lego Indy games on PSP etc, they are absolutely 100% addictive fun!

Dunno mate, but I just got the new Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy mag, and there is a photo from Warfare of a Star Wars game being played with Lego. Loads of figures, speeder bikes, AT-ATs, the lot.

Looks chuffin' brilliant...  :-*

I have the old 'Assault on Hoth' board game which uses cardboard tokens, I've been very tempted to scale the board up a bit and get a load of lego pieces to play the game with....

My mom sold all my legos for fifty bucks. A huge tube full. My childhood memories, gone. I'll never forgive her for that.  :'(

I'll cost it up. If I start buying the bits now I might be able to afford it by next BLAM :P

Yeah, that aint gonna happen! Have you seen how much the Lego AT-ATs cost?!?! You need 4 of the things and that before hunting down all the troops, cannon emplacements and snow speeders....... Maybe if I start playing the lottery.

That Tardis is fantastic! Wish there was a close-up of the Dr Who bits.

Why have Lego not got a licence from the Beeb to do Dr Who?

Think of the immense coolness factor of lego Daleks, Cybermen etc. The Indy and Star Wars stuff is great, but Dr Who Lego would definitely be the canine's testes ;D

Imagine how much of it you'd need to do the whole of the Tardis interior though  :(
