Princess Tigra and companions
« on: January 25, 2010, 03:54:46 AM »

This is a collaboration between Dave and myself. I forgot to dullcoat them before the pic. :?
I'll leave it for D to give all their names, as I forgot.

Jebus really did most of the work on these. I really like how the tiger turned out!

The tiger is awesome, and I'm glad that the Junle Babe is wearing leopard or her feline pal might have got angry!

The whole group is a great composition and perfectly painted too! The colours go very well together.

The stripes on the tiger and the spots on princess tigra's clothes are just amazing. Good work Jebus! :D

Sweet fur patterning on the tiger.  Its a great group of figures too, they drip narrative.

The princess looks like a copplestone fig, but I'll be damned if I can find it anywhere. Where did she come from?

Very cool, especially the nicely-done tiger stripes.

I chickened out of of actual tiger stripes when painting up a pair of sabre-toothed tigers last year; perhaps I should go back and have another go at them!

Tigers are definitely not easy to get right, but you have. Well done.

Yes, agreed. The gradation from the light to dark fur colouring is quite hard to achieve and the coat is a nice "tawny" shade rather than the garish orange we often see. Tiddles looks very natural and life-like :-*
