Princess Tigra vs. Dr. Phlebo, a Pulp Alley 3-way AAR
« on: December 20, 2012, 08:23:23 AM »
Zac, Brian, and Lily came over this weekend. Mila didn’t get to play because she couldn’t stay the whole time, so I took the pictures and notes.

They decide to do a 3-way game using the rules for the “Lost Keys” scenario. This is a playtest game for our soon to be released Pulp Alley rules --

Lily played Jungle Princess Tigra, trying to stop Dr. Phlebo’s strange experiments. Lily decided to set up her models scattered along the different side of the table. This gave her a good chance to reach key points but also left each character isolated.

Brian played his Col. Schafer crew. His mission was to capture the rogue engineer working for Dr. Phlebo, and/or cause as much damage as possible. He deployed his guys mostly around the cliffs towards the middle of the table.

Zac plays the mad scientist Dr. Phlebo. He must defend his site and the engineer, or at least escape with as much as he can. Zac decided to pack his characters together towards the middle of the south edge.

The pic below shows some of the initial deployments…

As always with your AARs, this one is a blast!

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Excellent Game!

And a "Well Done" for Tigra, especially in the win with divided forces.

Gracias,

Glenn

I didn't get to stay for the whole thing but it looks like everyone had a great time. Can't wait to have everyone over again :D

I'll also be posting another AAR later tonight that we did a couple days ago. Be sure to check out Pulp Girl trying to clear her name as a wanted criminal!

Dave is somewhat of a legend when it comes to his terrain, always looks fantastic and MacGuyver seems to wonder how he made it.

Good to see Tygra win out over three opponents, Zak, Brian, and Brian's beard.
