Who knows this post apocalytic russians?
« on: January 25, 2010, 03:04:53 PM »
I stumbled across this nice Stalker like miniatures on a russian site.
I don't speak russian and the bablefish translation makes no sense.
Does somebody here know who makes them and where to get them?

here is the site and the pics

It looks like an private range.
This are great figures and they looks somewhat between Forgeworlds "Renegades" and Pig Irons "Rebels".

Look here, there are some morge pictures:

I think, you must send an email to this guy who makes this figures.
I keep an eye on it.

It's not a private range. The company is called Ratnik Miniatures based in Russia. Click on the thread link in my post above to find out more. ;)

Not yet. Email only at the moment I believe. Although Matakishi has been in contact with Ratnick and may have more information soon.

I asked for these minis sometime ago, they answer me via email:

"Miniatures are divided into three sets. 10 figures enter into each set. In the third set two miniatures of dead persons are added.
Figures are made in resin. The price of one set 25Euro. It will be possible to pay through PayPal.
But should afflict a little you, at present figures are not accessible to the order. They should appear in a current of two months."

One of the pics makes reference to METRO 2033, which is in reference to a very cool russian 'post apoc' novel.

I've never read it, but they are making a video game about it

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metro_2033

I really liked the concept, and some of the creatures were fantastic (from the screenshots I saw)

I think they are Stalker series... more inspired in the videogame than in the original Strugatski brothers' book or in the great Tarkovski movie

but really nice range!!!   :-* :-* :-* :-*

Yeah they are stalker series but, they would work great for Metro 2033 also
