Another hello
« on: January 31, 2010, 05:03:12 PM »
Hello, everyone.

I'm Steve Flanagan (I've never had a gift for pen-names), de-lurking at last.

I've been gaming on and off since the late 1970s, when I alternated between WW2 with Donald Featherstone rules copied from a library book and WRG 5th edition ancients, and between Airfix and Peter Laing minis.  I edited Ragnarok for the Society of Fantasy and Science Fiction Wargamers for a couple of years, but have since recovered ...

Current projects: modern horror (anything but zombies), Robin Hood, and anything shiny and new that catches my eye.

Back from the dead, almost.

Welcome aboard! Try the salted water, goes well with the sauerkraut methinks. Please, respect for the alkaline-poisoned Caribbean-types. Their cheese has slipped of their crackers, but it's not their fault.

Never heard of Robin Hood miniatures. Sounds like a touch fun. Got any examples to present?
Everything is better with lizardmen.

Welcome.   I'm going to predict that your gaming genres will grow, if you spend much time here.

You are now amongst gaming elite.  We order wine    by appelage and vintage, the rest :  "Hey garsin, The philly wants white wine.  I''l take  a large red wine, with ice.   Ya know honey,  I hear they drink warm wine in Engalnd!"

 :D   :D    :D

Seriously.  While we enjoy the highest grade sushi , the rest are still looking at their placemat    to determine if they  are a Monkey or   Sheep.

I'm a monkey! And my unfortunate kid brother, who is horrendously short, is a rat or mouse or whatever the heck it is.

Pah, wine. Tea is where it's at. With a lovely butter-drenched crumpet or two to enjoy.

Oh, I am. But if you're not willing to live a little then what is the point at all? Besides, look to the stereotypical games convention-goer for your answer. lol

Thank you for the welcome!

Yes, Auton Nick, there will come a time when you can look at a game, show, mini or rulebook without thinking, "Should we be covering this?" Have faith.

Bako, I'll see if I can post some Robin Hood photos.
