Son of Yog-Sothoth (updated 1/02/10)
« on: 31 January 2010, 07:18:24 PM »
Based on the Dunwich Horror here's some pictures of another offspring spawned from human mother and Yog-Sothoth. It's my first experiement in resin casting!! It's a  7 part model, 1 body and 6 tenticles. ( I only used 5 of the tenticles on this model).

Here's a scale ref pic...

Wow... that face is striking and disturbing, it almost looked photo-shopped onto the model.

Very awesome, I'm impressed.

Excellant. Did you sculpt the face? If you only used five of seven arms does that mean it is modular and can be built in diffferent forms?

Much kudos, far better than a lot of stuff I have seen offered for sale.

Disturbing in conception, but flawless in execution. Kudos!

No photoshop, that's pure brushwork ;)

Yeah I sculpted the lot. The 6 tenticles are separate and don't have a specific position on the model. They can go anywhere that looks good and just need to be drilled and pinned onto the body with a little putty to fill the join.

Here's a pic of the sculpt of the face...

;D   The molds for this model are made, I'll PM those who expressed an interest in the model kit. Anybody else interested in getting hold of one send me a PM!!   ;D

Cheers...  actually I'm currently painting up a second version of this model as a proto-shoggoth which would fit in with a group of Hybrids very nicely  ;)
