Termite Mounds
« on: February 04, 2010, 10:28:18 PM »
I made some large termite mounds for Vietnam gaming (although they could fit in with other types of gaming too).  These are based on CD's.

Interesting pieces of scenery. Those will look great in your 'Nam games.

Milliput yeah?

Thanks guys.  It's not milliput (although if I were to do it again I think I would use milliput).  It's actually something called PaperClay that I picked up in the store and decided to experiment with.

Nice work BTW
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Always nice to see some unique pieces like this. Sometimes we forget just how many cool things there are in the world. Many of them also happen to make great scenery, but that is just a bonus.

 lol

No cats, but I have 2 dogs.  I don't think I'll be attempting to sculpt their poo any time soon!  ;)

I hate that stuff!
It's utter filth isn't it.

I do like that when it dries it's pretty light, but I didn't like how it cracked as it hardened.   :-I

It's also a pig to sculpt in.

And when you break it up, it's all weird and pulpy.
