Cultists.

Who makes good cultists?  I'd prefer a more 'modern' look.

Define modern. I think that the "cultist" image is captured perfectly by both Bob Murch and Artizan designs respectively. Alternately, you could use the Offensive Miniatures Rioters for a modern, non-robed cultist.

I like the Bob Murch ones....I didn't realize Artizan had any.

I kind of want robed ones. I'm not sure what I mean by a more 'modern' look.... I wanna use them in a 'Near Future' game, but as I think about it, robed bad guys would seem to work no matter what.

How well do Pulp figures or Artizan 'scale' up with things like Hasslefree, or Studio Miniatures?

Do you have the Hasselfree Cultists?  They are very nice, but a bit on the small side.  I have the Artizen ones.  They fit in fine with most Hasselfree, Reaper, Copplestone, and Foundry.

Assuming you mean 28mm scale..

There are Eureka ones (worshipping, no weapons)

Hasslefree have a few

Black Cat have some

Pulp Figures do several packs

Artizan do some

Babylon's Burning had a set (OOP as far as I know)

East Riding Miniatures have a set in the Golgo Island line

More futuristic are the redemptionists from GW for Necromunda

I'm sure there are ones I've missed...

Mississinewa, maybe? They don't look stellar in the pics, but I think it's partially due to the grainy paintjob. I may get a set soonish. There are useful weapon options for gaming, and the unit deal is fairly cheap as the price essentially includes shipping.

And then there's the old Grenadier cultists, which you will have to get via eBay or other auction, if you're lucky (which I did).  I haven't got mine painted yet, but here they are, primed:

There's a pic of the blister in the Lost Minis Wiki: http://recipesrealm.com/wiki/index.php?title=Call_of_Cthulhu

I do prefer a hooded hoard of them, though, and to be distinct from Ku Klux Clan figs, which are another breed altogether, and also appropriate for 1920's horror...
