Lovely model TC! It could come straight off a model railway layout  :-*

It would be perfect for a VSF/Gothic Horror "Assault On Precinct 13" type scenario  :D

That's very nice, very evocative. I look forward to seeing the rest of the town.

Echoing what everyone else said. Lovely and I would like to know what materials you used and such.

So Svenn, you also build things? Interesting... lol

As promised here's the build thread:

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=16493.0

Aslo here's those comparison pics with the Skaledale model I based it on. The fig is an Ironclad Guards Officer (I know, I know I should have used a police officer).

As I said earlier I'm thinking the original model is too small for 28mm:

Sorry about the quality of the pics.
Don't!

I agree. The original model is too small.

Not only that, yours is much better looking.

Frankly Thunderchicken, I think you've been hiding your modelling light under a bushel.

Overlord will start getting brickwork envy.

Looking forward to at least a whole street by the time we get to BLAM 2010  :)

Yours is considerably nicer. The Skaledale model looks like a Wendy house in comparison.

A very nice start with the bricks on the chimney, but you need to be doing fahsands of 'em.
I expect nothing less than the whole of the Victorian East End of London by October.   :D

Actually it depends how you base them. The only problematic item I've found with the Scenix items is the door height. If you base them right you can build up the door height to an acceptable level. Well, that works for me anyway.

Very nice -regarding the Blue Lamps according to the only bit I have to hand "The Victorian Policeman" by Simon Dell Shire Publications page 31 mentions that blue lamps were authoristed for use out side (cannot remember exact date at moment) but the Hyde Park station as Tropper mentioned had clear glass out of respect to Queen Vicky's (gud bless her) feeling towards that colour after the death of Albert in "the blue room".
Ok next project Newgate or the Old Bailey !!!!! you're caught them and locked them up, time for a fair trial and lock them up again (before you hang em)
gan canny kidder!
