Pegasus Russian Buildings
« on: 20 February 2010, 12:58:50 PM »
I know the Pegasus Russian Farmhouse and other buildings are marked as 1/72, but will they work with Copplestone and Artizan BoB types? Or are they too noticeably small?

I use them with Copplestone/Brigade figures and you don't realy notice any scale difference .

They work fine. I think the buildings are a bit too large for 1/72 !
You can use them perfectly for 28mm

Ask and ye shall...

EM4 troopers, 1cm grid. A tad small, but not impossible for 28mm, a bit large for 1:72 as Driscoles said.

And they have a great variety - 3 different kits of Russian houses - 1 of a large Izba, 1 of two smaller Izbas, and 1 of two farmhouses. They also have a line of prepainted resin (i think resin anyway, hard to tell since they're prepainted) buildings - 1 Izba (different than those in the kits), and 2 Ukranian houses. So 8 different buildings (of which I have 7), all perfectly scaled for my 28mm figures (Brigade,Copplestone,Battle Honors).

Here is a link to see all of them at Michigan Toy Soldiers' site: http://www.michtoy.com/michtoy_search_products.php?Vendor_ID=Pegasus&Types=Scenic+and+Diorama+Materials&Period=&Scale=1%2F72+Scale+%2822.4mm+or+7%2F8+inch%29&Material=&Categories=&Numbers=&typeofSEARCH=fulltextOTHERS&items=10&submitButtonName=Search+Product20or%207/8%20inch%29

Marko, could you tell me what kind of paints did you use on the right house?
