Kaiserschlacht 1918
I had the privilege to have a game at the wonderful gaming table of Spieltrieb Frankfurt at the Tactica 2010 in Hamburg.
Two players being the british (they are irish wait and see) and three players being the germans.
The guys of Spieltrieb Frankfurt showed fotos behind the gaming table and had a loan collection from the Bavarian army museum. Steel helmet, gas mask, and some newspapers.
Rules: Great War from Warhammer historical.

Many thanks to:
The guys from Spieltrieb Frankfurt who built the table, painted the miniatures ans led a most enjoyable game.
And the other gamers.
Thanks!

History:
At march, 21.1918 at 4:40 a.m. about 10.000 german guns and mortars opened fire.
At 42 miles along the front they fired 1.160.000 grenades in five hours.
At 11:10 a.m. after only 90 minutes of infantry battle 28.000 british soldiers were dead or prisoners.
German and british forces suffered about 80.000 dead, wounded and prisoners on the first day of the michel offensive.
The battle lasted to April 05.1918…

Wow is not enough, what a fantastic battle!  How many and which types of units were involved in the battle?
