More pulpy terrain

Hey all,

My slow work on my indie jones inspired terrain contines after a couple of weeks with no updates.

Check out my blog for this weeks pictures.

Neat stuff - I like the platforms a lot, usable for temples, ruins, and other random scenery. I think I'll have to consider something similar - my pulp Lost City ruins are mostly one level right now, sections based on CDs.

The jungle scenery looks good too. I swear, wargamers use more aquarium plants than the aquarium people do!  :)

I really like those modular blocks.  That's a great idea, I've been mulling over how to do something similar, but couldn't visualize how to actually do it.  This could be expanded to so many other gaming genres.  Kudos for innovation!

Quite a clever idea to make hex-based terrain out of Staffa/Giants  Causeway. I mean that's what it pretty much what it is to start with. Staffa is one of the oddest places I've been to. Very Cthulu.

Very well made. I'm bound to steal some of those ideas. I especially like the partially flooded model.

Yea, that submerged board is spectacular!  I'll have to try my hand at that as well.  In fact I'll include a lacation like that in the next game.  Very inspireing!  Naturally you'll get credit at our club.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the comments, It's been a fun experiment so far seeing how many different ways I can dress up the same terrain.

I'm hoping for some really interesting games come May.

With reference to the submerged board I unfortunatly cannot take credit for that one, its made by RedSkullz and posted right here on Lead Adventure. You can find more of his pics here: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=13974.0

I loved it when I first saw it and only now found a reason to make something simmilar.

Nice terrain and great ideas.  Thank you.

Hi sheerluck,

They're plastic D&D miniatures from the set Dungeon of Dread, you can pick em up on ebay for under a quid each.

Looks good, and seems an excellent setup for games.  I need to work on having more levels with my terrain.
