SYW India
« on: March 23, 2010, 09:16:29 AM »
Hi,

My first post here (so I dont get thrown off the forum!)

A couple of other members suggested I post up a couple of pics and a link to a Seven Years War in India project I am managing. Figures painted by a mate. Buildings by HG Walls and others. I, at least, have done the ships.

Hope you like.

GWZ

...his whole mass of cavalry came on at speed in the most splendid style. The rush of horse, the sound of the earth, the waving of flags, the brandishing of spears, were grand beyond description but perfectly ineffectual.

Bloody hell, that's an immense AND attractive army! Must have cost you a fortune to have painted up.

EDIT: ..and the buildings, terrain and all the other doodahs... Jesus, Mary and Joseph...!

Rather not think about that aspect!

Gorgeously, spectacularly wonderful  :o :-*
Your mate is a damn good painter, and your basing is none too shabby either.
Love the Akalis in particular.

*swoon*

One of the loveliest armies I've seen posted on here for a while. Fascinating period, utterly gorgeous painting. You're a lucky boy!

It's about time it came out to play, GWZ.

It's great to see it getting a wider audience.
