painted this last year, its a psudo germanic "thing|" from the Monolith ranges (its 36mm, i forget the name of the range!) i had it cos i liked it!
never been sure what to do with it really...?   :freak:  

can you tell i was playing alot of castle Wolfenstien at the time?   :wink:

I have the same one. I am torn whether to make him Soviet or German.

If German I will paint the trousers grey and put white crosses on the fists,
if Soviet kakhi trousers and red stars. Decisions, decisions...

funny, i never thought about him being russian...

crosses and stars on the fists are a bit to obvious IMHO, how about if he's a russian, brown boots, khaki johdpurs, red fingers/olive(tank)green on the fists and a hammer and sickle tattoo on one shoulder?

I was thinking about using him what a half squad tactical late war unit of either Germans or Soviets. An experimental unit with an officer, two handlers with prods, a radio controller (a radio guy really with a big red button on the control unit for destruction in case the titan runs havoc among friendlies).

An obvious piece of scenery to go with this would be a banged up tank with big punch marks and bent cannon.

If you don't want to go for the obvious Russian or German paintjob, why not go for Japanese markings ?
Alternately, what national markings would apply in Transylvania ?

Not a bad idea. I do however think a secret weapon like this would need a pretty obvious identifier lest  troops on any side blow him to kingdom come in sheer panic.
