Home-brew Strange Aeons Logs
« on: April 09, 2010, 08:05:21 PM »
Just thought I'd share this with the SA fans hereabouts:

Since I usually play on a 3' x 6' table where a single miniatures game and all of the accompanying paraphernalia can lead to things getting very cramped very fast, I like to use record cards in place of full-size record sheets to save space. To that end, I made cards to use for the Threshold forces in our group's SA games. If anybody's interested, you can find them on my blog: A Hard Won Thing

Great.  I copied it.  Your right, not only is it a decent space saver but saves rewriting information when new members are added to a characters team.

Thanks

I thought about the card idea other day while at work, but am not much good at making things with softwere programs, if I could  I would have made them with a picture of my painted miniatures on them, but you are right about how much room A4 sheets take up on table tops, but I that  think pretty much same for most games now days.

Glad you like - hope you get lots of good use out of them.  :D

...if I could  I would have made them with a picture of my painted miniatures on them...

Actually, my first draft had space for just that. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough space overall to keep the images. Once I've got more of my Strange Aeons/Call of Cthulhu minis painted, I may have to revisit the layout and see if I can't work the image space back in...
