Commander Vyper's Salute
« on: 25 April 2010, 10:44:01 PM »
Well a good Salute all round I reckon.

The Frotherheim Table looked fantastic, real credit to all:

A bewildered GW 'Hobbist' tm looks on with horror, he begins to lovingly stroke his battle magic boxed set whilst chanting... there's no place like Mordheim, there's no place like Mordheim.....mummy!!!!

:D

Rik's scenery was so cool in the flesh, he offered me the two tower ruin which I would have had, but no room for it. Ben had it for the same princely sum, bloody bargain, but mind the point, you'll have someone's eye out with that! :D

Classic moment when the two world war one dirty hun started playing on the WWI salute table, although one had a very convincing cockney accent, maybe a spy  in disguise? ;)

(Very funny, but felt the need to rescue the tanks and vehicles once figures went flying due to a little over vealous flickerage.

So very nice tables, the Secrets of the Third Reich and Private Gregory (from that there France's) Incursion board were very nice.

Twlight had a snow theme this year, bloody nice tree, figures were ok, paintjob's average...

JED's GOT table is looking very nice indeed.

The Heresy Dragon is really taking shape, Sally seemed happier with her choice of collaspable wall this year and the half-dead alien game looked like a bit of a laugh.

Crooked dice tables were lovely, the oil rig was a bit special and unit HQ very nice indeed. The other table was a rehash of the Geezer's table from last year, but nice all the same.

Very busy this year, good range of traders, some sadly missed due to the volanic cloud didn't really detract.

Purchases:

A load of Blackcat bases figures, (lots of new figures added to the ranges, some really nice little ideas too):

Pre-ordered deep ones from Ian, really nice and long waited for since fondling the greens in November, then helped palm the rest of them off onto helpless lead driven addicts like AEG and Agent Molar! :D

Project X new uber soldat in powered armour with a panzershreck. Bloody lovely.

A Heresy minion that Artemis had with a load of other discontinued heresy stuff that he'd found recently in the shop.

Great day and really good to catch up with loads of people from the various forums.

The Frotherheim Table is fantastic.

Just love looking at pics like this.

Who makes all that cool 'evil scientist' lab equipment?  Is that Black Cat??

Thanks for posting the Black Cat pics.  I've been wanting to see that jazz band.

Damn those black cat base people sure got their tractor beam fixed on me... must resist!

By the way I don't get your GW-joke. The guy is carrying boxes from what.. 1995? Or the age of yearn.
Perhaps he's just working out.

Wearing a Bloodbowl t-shirt, clutching oop warhammer stuff and looking very worryingly at our Frotherheim table, I think the fanboy was having 'a moment'. ;)
