So they are only £18?  Which in Dkk GW translates to 180 (factor 10), whereas the Pound is only 8.6 Dkk... So I would actaully have to pay almost £21...  >:(
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

nah... I may buy them in my local games store the next time my family gives me money for spending on hobby-stuff at x-mas or birthday - in the meantime I'll wait for at least the rank and file to be made in plastic.... they are £8 for 3 atm...  ::)

Outrageous prices - think I'll stick to buying old citadel minis on ebay for bargain prices, plus postage, plus drunken impulse buys....

...oops!  ;D

Ah yes, that mystery parcel from an E-Bay seller containing figures you don't even remember seeing, let alone buying.

That's never happened to me!   ::) lol lol

These are new figures out, so that is their only price.

Just a bit, its those type of prices that killed GW for me.

You have that right, apart from ebay, I haven't bought a GW figure in five years.

I find it difficult to justify the sort of prices I see at GW and Foundry, and I'm not strapped for cash like I used to be in the days when I thought Citadel were the best figures available. I did a cost per figure analysis a few years ago and found that whilst a half decent spear & chainmail type figure from various smaller companies averaged at 11kr each, GW were about 45 kroner each.

Thankfully I've never cared for most GW figures because I find their oversized weapons and caricature sculpting style disrupts my sense of proportion. I do however have a few of their LOTR range (mostly goblins and orcs) but even these have been modified to appease my sensibilities.

Im surprised they still produce LOTR mini's, every time I went into my local GW I eneded up walking out with freebies, not least being an army of Elven archers, Rohan Warriors, White Council, Gandalkf the White and Strider, sold them all on ebay, kinda wished I'd kept them as Im slowly creeping back into fantasy and could have used some as adventurers...oh well.

And yes £18 for 3 mini's is expensive, and the "your paying for thier special abilities" isnt much of an arguement.
