Nice! The wall of billmen and archers is very impressive. I really need to get back to mine after seeing this.

I’m more and more interested in getting a few of these plastic WotR figures. No offence intended but even with a more basic paint job, they look quite good. Inspiring to said the least. Nice wok timg 8)
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

No your quite right, all im doing with the plastics is blocking the main colours in then using some washes. Bit of speed painting really and its quite enjoyable doing them this way and fast as im going to need a lot of the blighters!

Very nice. Shows that figures do not have to be metal to look good. I shall look forward to seeing the rest of your retinues.

Thinking of getting a backswoodman in armour and calling him Davey Clunket.........Yes long way from Texas i'm afraid but got to paint something to keep my hand in while i wait for those tempting Mexicans which draw ever closer. Hows the building branch of the empire going Nick?

Davey Clunket.........  lol

Yes long way from Texas i'm afraid but got to paint something to keep my hand in while i wait for those tempting Mexicans which draw ever closer.... Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, just waiting for the castings now.

Hows the building branch of the empire going Nick? ...Just finished another thatched jacale, and working on a small adobe dwelling with stable to the rear. Should finish it this weekend so long as it rains... If its warm and sunny, Mrs M will have me gardening :(

Im planning on mounting my personalities on special bases. Can anyone advise on a size and source for bases that will be big enough for three mounted figures each? Working on a General, page and standard bearer per base. (possibly a loosers trophy for the Barnet 71 cross country racein Warwicks case too :D)
