He does African savannah style trees like Acacias.

If you fancy making your own, Herb Gundt did an article on making acacias in Wargames Illustrated 151.

Sadly, it appears so  :(

Beautiful creations, but way out of my league.

These guys sell them as well http://mbtandt.webs.com/ Can't comment on quality as I've never used them so far.
Several different price ranges. They are in the wonderful land of Oz, so Ozzy dollars but maybe a bit more in shipping etc.

Yah, the plastic baobob is just gorgeous, I had to buy one and a pair of acacias and a pair of mopane trees as well.   For the last two years I have been trying to work the baobob into a scenario.  Perfect for a BIG baobob in 28mm.

Hi,

I'm co-owner of Murray Bridge Trees and Terrain, linked above, and would just like to take this opportunity to apologise for our very, very ordinary website :(
We do plan to improve this... Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions or e-mail me through the address on the website.

For what it's worth, there are some more photos in my Photobucket album: http://s92.photobucket.com/albums/l12/LeadBear/African%20Trees/

Kind Regards,

Barry Scarlett

Me too. I could buy 'real life' saplings for the price of some of those. :-[

I have had the same problem and made some acacia trees from wire, poly-fiber (aquarium stuff) and fine turf…
