Can't loose the will Grimm I have to get this finished for BLAM or I will never live it down.
All going well you may be able to see it at BLAM if you make it?

Had a couple of productive days.
Finished building the plane and started working out my colour scheme.
Put together a lot more of the hanger bay, including various walkways

Started the skin as well.

I have also built all the pieces I need for the other two engines. I need these fitted before I can cover the outside and build the walkways in this section.

Outstanding build, slowly, slowly and all that... the vital question is "will it actually fly?" of course.  :D

You're too curious for your own good, pal. If you're lucky, it'll be a bit of lead between the eyes, if not, they'll throw you out of the Zeppelin as it crosses the Humber. lol

It would be cool if you could rig lights, as I think PapaMidnight did in his recent victorian house project.  Dim lighting, especially in the hanger and cargo bay, would really convey that lost-in-shadows quality from which an airship game would benefit.

Looking super.

Do you plan to fix all the sections together or do you have some scheme to be able to put it together and take it apart?

You's lot away want to push it to far o_o
Is it not enough to build a 5' zeppelin now you want running lights as well :o :o lol lol lol

It needs to be built in sections for transport down to London.
Still not sure how we are going to attach it all together. Any ideas welcome. At the moment some of the heavier bits will sit quite nicely together but the lighter bits can be a bit wobbily. especially when there are figures in the top gangway. The engine pods are designed to act as legs to steady it all.
We have though of some sort of magnets but I not sure where to get them. They would need to be weak ones to prevent any damage to the structure. I think we need to find magnetic strip like on a fridge or shower door. Anybody know where you would get that kind of stuff.

How about tying them together with thread through the structure holes. Maybe not the tidiest solution, but possibly the easiest.

cheers
