Have finished a small squad of these. Light Colours are quite tricky but I'm chuffed.

Tell me what you think.

I have also begun to make some buildings etc.. thanks to my cereal packets and some corrugated cardboard purchased for 99p. I haven't got any photo's of this but may post when I have my village complete. I'm happy with this first attempt ever at scratch modelling.

I don't think it will be long before all the preparation takes the form of gaming.

Cheers

THey look nice! Is that a sky blue uniform? Very pretty, and a decidedly different thing from the usual field grey (although, for Pulp, what is "usual"?)...

Of course, now we´ll expect you to build a Zeppelin as well.

I like those. Good choice of colour scheme - sky blue for sky troopers.
Like it.
Would be good to see in a bit more detail sometime, but looking good.  :)

@Chris and the Captain

Thank yo for the nice comments.

The sky blue came from Tamiya field blue , dulled down for the shade, and a highight of space wolves grey.

The idea came from bob murch's website as that looked quite blue rather than grey.

My wife has helped me with the scratch buildings but just told me to sod off when i mentioned a zeppelin      so i did try.

Although I did like the look of the smaller scale one posted on another thread. Ok so its not 8 ft long but it would fit on the table.

Yeah I looked it up and it does look sky blue to me. What do you think?

Very nice Dodge, I like the colour scheme, better than grey. :)

Sky Blue is perfect for those figures. I *think* I would do them in a warm brown to resemble those wool/fur overalls of the WW1 German air force, but the blueish grey is a perfect "pulpization" of the common German clichés.

That's the effect I was going for a sky themed pulp look. I really like how it turned out.

Thank you very much for the comments. I'm now spurred on to paint the remaining 10.

Cheers

Thanks Marrony

The more I look at the sky blue the more I think I made a good choice
with the colour scheme.

The positive comments from all of you have convinced me that it was a good choice.

I'll do some more and try to get in closer.

BTW the shots were taken with a dvd camcorder on photo mode. They have come out better than with my own camera. The sunny day helped though.
