Greetingsyep.. though in my case it was some TV Show on History Channel ;-) Apparently -from what I recall- it was some kind of experimental paint 2/3 Aluminum and 1/3 something other (or was it the other way around ??) whereas the friction with the aluminum flakes started the ignition and thus it took only 32 seconds to engulf the whole dirigible. Horrible in true life I admit

Yeah, I had heard about that one, too. On LZ-127, the aluminium powder only added to the last (fifth) paint layer applied to the cover, and apparently only in small amounts.

Landing strip for rocket troops is a great idea! :o
Especially the net at the end.
In my opinion the landing strip needs some running lights. Just a thing a pulp zeppelin needs. :D

You need to equip this beast with running lights, and then have a looped tape (or MP3 equivalent) of the thrumming engines playing in the background as you play!

Model trains have glow-in-the-dark strips that are very easy to apply.  Just an idea.

Mythbusters did that paint mix I think... went up like you wouldn't believe...

Sorry I am not being rude by ignoring your comments but

 ;D ;D ;D ARE YOU ALL STARK RAVING MAD  ;D ;D ;D

Its supposed to be the bad guys secret weapon  and it wouldn’t be very secretive if it was lit up like Blackpool beach.  ;)

And as for the realistic paint ideas I think I will just stick with acrylics if you don’t mind. I am a smoker and we wouldn’t want any accidents lol

Seems it should be Black painted, since its a bad guy Secret base, oh with a large Logo on the side as bad guys usually do not have Flags of their own country, maybe pulling a flag with their logo?  Another approach would be is this the secret base of a Mad Scientist type of bad guy or a super secret evil overlord cult guy? The first would forget about subtly paint colors.. Ming the Merciless, where as the Overlord would be all about camoflage etc., oh and passwords, countersigns and secret handshakes :)

What sort of camouflage would fit a Zeppelin? Permanent smoke field perhaps?
