I have these from Brigade Games

I plan on using them on land and was wondering what colors I should use.
I've only seen bw pictures and most of them looked quite dark.

the clothes look like U-Boot board-dress (single buttoned), and this would be a medium grey.

Service dress (double buttoned) would be dark navy blue.
German navy units on land had field dress similar to the army, but it is not the dress Your miniatures have

I didn't mean to use them as infantry but as sailors manning a secret weather station.
If I like how they turn out I might mix some BG Finnish in with them.

oh, I've just seen it...
It is a link from a german online newspaper, and it is from a period movie.
I can't edit it, so either we leave it as it is (I thought the depiction was allowed for movies)
or I take it out completly

don't know what to do - if You think it is aproblem, please remove it, I can't report my own post
