New Scalescenes PDF's
« on: June 12, 2010, 09:17:08 AM »
You may recall that on my zed table I used a mixutre of worldworks and scalescenes PDF's

Well I've received an email update and must admit these new kits would look great in a UK themed table, (designed for train setups so a little bit of upscaling required:

Wonder if John'll do you a toastie? :D

Its been quite a while since our last product news email. If you haven't visited Scalescenes.com in the past 12 months we have some exciting new kits:

T014 Church - Finally a kit that really captures the essence of a typical English church!
TO10 Low Relief Flats - Build a realistic small block of flats or a giant tower block!
TO23 Small Corner Shops - A great stand-alone structure or simple addition to TO22 Small Terraced Houses

R002a Low Relief Warehouse - New FREE download, as featured in Hornby Magazine
R001b  Station Structures - Includes a gents, bookstall, ticket barrier and equipment cabinets
R005  Large Station Building - An elegant structure that includes an overall roof and parcels office
R005a  Large Overall Roof - Create a real centrepiece for your layout!

Great for pre-war to modern, see these being very handy for loads of themes.

This is sure to sound like a stupid question, but are PDFs easy to re-scale? I have very little DTP etc experience so I'd like to know how to do it. If cardstock models come in a scale compatible with 28mm, I can manage it, otherwise my brain goes into Homer Simpson mode  :(

These look ideal for Dr Who etc scenarios set in 20thC Britain.

You can change the scale of a pdf pretty easily when you go to print it. In the first print window click the Properties button. Go to the Layout tab in the next windom and click the advanced button. There is a percentage setting for scale there. Just make sure you set it back to 100% when you're done or it will effect all your printing.

Thanks!  :D

I just zoomed up to around 131% and print on A3, works out fine.

Good luck.
