Baron Bror Blixen (an accomplished philanderer in his own right)

Well, he was Swedish after all and shares this national trait with Col. Stone, phreed, Mattias and some other forum members...   ::)

Indeed. There are those who speculate that he could impossibly have had the syphilis as the entire colony would have had it then. So Karen must have gotten it some other way..  ;)

Superb painting Plynker. Although I'll admit that I don't know what to make of the chaps on blue rods? Are they jumping? Balancing? Impaled through the heel?

Not having syphilis, I haste to say, is also something the Swedish LAF members share with Baron Blixen-Finecke. In other words we are still open for business.  :D

Inspirational, imaginative, mind expanding, entertaining, amusing, brilliant.  Superb.  An honour to read/see/experience.  Well done. A privilege.

They is dancing. It is a dance they learned from watching BBC idents on their plasma screen TVs...

I can't see any blue rods. Only sky.  ;)

Some suspicious and cynical people have suggested that Karen's syphilis (unlike Hammers') was entirely imaginary, and that she invented it because she thought syphilis was something a great writer really ought to have.

Well done Plynkes.  Great idea to end on the monkeys listening to the gramophone.

I forgot what I really meant to say: GREAT, great work, Plynkes! Tremendous sense of humor and stroy telling in all details from bouncing willies to gramophone.

...from bouncing willies to gramophone.

The bouncing willy was a traumatic experience, both for me and the figure. It started when I was looking for ways to make the dancing fellas look like they have been caught in motion in mid-air. Looking at photos of real Masai I noticed their beads and necklace always fly about all over the place, so I thought I'd make his look like it was moving. It is the necklace that comes sculpted on the figure, and I had the cunning idea of sliding a scalpel under it and then prising it up (the bigger one on his friend is done differently, I made that one out of lead wire). Feeling all pleased with myself at how that turned out then I suddenly thought that if his necklace is bobbing up like that then his willy really ought to be doing likewise - so I tried to use the same method. Unfortunately my knife slipped and I cut his cock right off. It fell on the floor and I couldn't find it.  :o

But it turned out okay in the end. I think he is happy with things, as the new one I made for him out of Green Stuff is quite a bit larger than the one Mark Copplestone originally gave him.  :)

Easy for you to say as it wasn't your member.

lol lol lol For all you who have not met me: I share Plynkes crude sense of humor. I laughed at this till  the joints of my desk chair gave in.

Okay, so I didn't have my dangler lopped off by a clumsy hobbyist, but speaking as someone whose member has been on the receiving end of a scalpel, I can empathise with his pain. And unlike your average Red Sea Pedestrian, I underwent the procedure at a sufficient age that I still remember the experience.    :)

Actually it was fun. I recommend it.
