Bloody hell that's big!  :o Very impressive though. Will make a nice backdrop for a game.

Very very impressive.

How about Google Earth for a view of the top of the palace. It wont be brilliant but will give you an idea.

As for windows how about printing window frames onto acetate sheets. Svennn did that for a build he put together for me earlier in the year so he may be able to give you some advice on how to do it.

I have two words: In sane.

Of course, there was that gutted Reichstag I saw...

There've been some recent BBC documentaries on refurbishing the palace, but I'm not good at noodling the Beeb's site. I'm sure there's footage you could come across, including roof info.

I think most folks assume just the front, on one edge of the table, would be apropos of an approach battle; you could even hang the building from a 'play room' wall, and push the table underneath.

You aren't intending for it to be a 'cutaway' to be able to carry the battle inside, are you?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but as you're doing the palace post-1913, here's a floorplan:

Keep with it. Now you've got a good way in you'll start to see lots of things you're not happy with, the trick is to only change the things that will actually have a real impact. With brick sizes, if you were making a terraced house then, yes it can matter. With a palace which is usually made from stone blocks then it's far less noticeable once done.

Might be worth browsing through here, there are some pics you won't fins elsewhere :)

You know the 'Back' of the Palace is actually the front and is in a light tan coloured stonework.
