I should have joined this forum years ago!

I'm not sure how many of you know this, but I draw an ongoing comic in Dream Pod 9's bimonthly web-zine, Aurora. Each issue is a downloadable PDF.

The comic is done in the style of the old British war comics like Battle and Action, and is set in the Gear Krieg universe. It follows the adventures of Lt. Alphonse "Alfie" March and his walker troop throughout the Battle of France.

I can only recommend the "Alfies Tanners" comics, nice read and a good addition for Gear Krieg!

Now that the gang have escaped at Dunkirk -- are they off to North Africa with a side trip to Greece? Will they be bungling through the jungles of Borneo against Japanese Shiki mechs?? Looking forward to more!

I have some vague idea of what I'm going to do, but I want to get things sorted out, and do a bit of research on troop travel. While there's a certain pulpiness, I still like having a bit of reality and educational content snuck in there.
