VBCW armoured train WIP
« on: 05 July 2010, 03:44:03 PM »
WIP of "The Unionist" first armoured train built by trade unions at Brighton Works- what do you think? Its still WIP, but almost finished, need to put a hatch on turret of smaller HMG carriage and make some ladder on the side for crew to climb on and do some drybrushing and highliting.

Also there will be most likely an option of casting few copies of carriages and locomotive in resin for a reasonable price- would anybody be interested?
Cheers

Tom -

Looks very good, so far.

Let us know about the casting thing. I might be interested in picking up a set (or two).

Not sure about the name, 'Unionist@. At that time the full name of the the 'Tories' would have been the 'Conservative ans Unionist Party'. The unionist part of the name referred to the Ulster Unionists in N. Ireland. I don't think any politically savvy trade union would have wanted to be connected or associated with the Tory party.
