Inside was this figures

Its hard plastic on a 30mm plstic hex base
The figures available in the range are ; Spiderman Two versions
                                                               The Hulk     two versions
                                                               Storm
                                                               Captain Americ
                                                                Wolverine  two versions
                                                                The Thing
                                                               The Silver Surfer
                                                               Invisible Woman
                                                         and Electra

I only have the Electra so far  , the casting looks ok ,the figures come off their bases fairly easily and they cost 39p
I thought someone on the Forum might find these of interest.
enjoy
Dexter

ps heres a comparison of the Electra figure next to  Hasslefree not Elvis figure.

hi dexter,

i have quite a few of those, the only ones probably usable with 25/28mm are the elektra, one of the wolverine figures and one of the spiderman figures.

The thing you might get away with as he's hunched overa, bit. the hulks are too small and the upright human figures are much too small, for example, Cap A is exactly an inch tall and very, very slim. Although he'd be great if anyone's doing 20mm supers. He'd be great for a www2 cap with 20mm plastics.

regards

It's a plastic egg containing a Marvel figure and some jelly beans, about twice the size of a Kinder egg  but no chocolate.

We all know that Marvel is not a company but an alien invader trying to make us eat its eggs and spawn more young.

The Works have some Marvel figures in packs of stickers.
Not sure how big they are - only seen one so far, a Silver Surfer, and he looks about 1/32 scale. Might be useful as a statue or something.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

if they are vthe ones im thinking of most are in fairly dull lifeless poses. Spidey was stood up straight arms at his side. flat pose and uninspired. At least the hulk had a bit of animation in his.

Actually, super hero statues is just what I'm looking for. What's this "the Works"?
A place, a manufacturer?

I want to have some non-posable figures to paint up as statues for plazas, museums, and such in my superhero game.
A bit larger than life size would be great.

'The Works' is a discount bookshop that usually also has a shelf ot two of cheap toys and some art and craft supplies.

There should be one nearby if your 'Washington' is near Sunderland (I've just checked, there's one in the Galleries Shopping Centre), but not necessarly if it's near Baltimore, Toronto or Oregon. Sorry, I can only help with Washington near Sunderland.

To Dexter: nice work, I'll have to look out for some of these.

To everyone: any shots of any of the others, preferably with some sort of guide to scale? I'm always on the lookout for cheap superhero figs. Thanks in advance.

The Home Bargains in Consett did not have them in.Will have to try again next week.

The other Super Hero figures with the stickers are not very good. From the packaging I was hoping to get Thor.He is not in the set  :'(.The stickers are pretty nice though and at £1.00 a pack are not too bad.The Original Factory shop have them in too.
