Lovely stuff, great paint jobs. Who makes the two cowboys?

Thanks very much.  The cowboys are made by Knuckleduster.  They've got some great stuff, IMO.

Arhh, thank you, they are very characterful figures. I don't think some of the photos on their website do them justice.
The first cowboy reminds me of Robert Duval in Open Range.

Very nice but the first figure, in braided jacket and turn up slouch hat, intrigue me… Does he think he’s Napoleon? ;)

That's funny Calimero, I believe he is Reno or Benteen, but I can't remember which of the two.  Both were reputed to be pretty obnoxious, I think.

Malamute, I agree about Knuckleduster's stuff.  From what I can tell, I have a few Duval, Wayne, and Eastwood types awaiting paint.  Many of the others remind me strongly of O.C. Seltzer's portraits and studies.

I believe its Benteen. Wearing the slouch hat with both front and rear brims pinned up in this fashion was popular. I have a photo somewhere showing Benteen dressed this way, I am sure thats were Copplestone got his inspiration from, The left arm held behind the back does give the Napoleon look though lol

I shall go check out those Knuckeduster figures some more.  :)

Excellent stuff! It's convinced me to get some of the Knuckleduster figs. Like Malamute, I've always thought that the photos on the website make them look pretty bad. Painted up, they look great. There's some Frontline western accessories I've had my eye on for a while, and the American distributor also sells the Knuckleduster stuff, so that's my order sorted!
Looking forward to more western stuff!

lol

Actually Chaps, the braided jacket was the standard patrol jacket for officers at the time of Custer's demise.

Top quality paint jobs BTW AI  8)

Finally!
Some painted knuckleduster figs...they look quite nice.
Kudos on the paint job

Thanks all.  I really like the Knuckleduster stuff, especially the Cowboys.  The Indians are Foundry, though, one of their nicer ranges if you ask me.
