Looks excellent, where did you get the columns from?

Very simple to get :
the column are made with wood stick 15mm diameter coming from a woodstore or DIY store.
Several diameter are available and nothing to do except cut to the needed length.
if you aven't in your area, try a bird store (wood or plastic stick for bird) or a petshop !

The other main source for columns is cake stands. The bits that separate the big chunks of a wedding cake.

right but you can have a wood stick 50 cms long for less than 1.50 €.... ;)

well, here are coming the bad guys. A foundry 28mm is show for comparison size:

a cyclop

an hydra :

Cerberus, the hell guardian :

And a Minautor :
the column is from a bird cage, plastic stick.

All are plastic figurines from PLASTOY.
The Hydra from the Dragon range

all the others from a mythological "tubos" (small version of the normal range) :

Nice! That Mythology tube is an excellent find (I think they're marketed under the name "toob" in the US...). What rules set are you using for your scenario?

thanks
i use my own version based on "The Lord Of the Ring" from GamesWorshop. I' like the way you drive your hero in this set rules.

In France, you can get a tube for nearly 14 €. The humans are quite big for 28mm (around 40mm).
I 'll use them like statues, small giants or gods.
The hydra is 12 €.

Are these figures generally available in French toy shops? I'm asking because we are off to Brittany soon for our holidays. I'm sure I could manage a couple of purchases by bribing Mrs Maximus with a nice bottle of red wine ;)

good work, but if you ever go back to redo it, think about how some of those blocks are supported... the one in the corner is staying up by force of will alone... the joins need to be above a column, not open air...

i know, i know but i saw it just too late to change my block design. ;)
i rush in my project, long time awaiting me since several months...and forget the essential, the physic law ! :D
