Can anyone identify these tanks for me?
« on: August 20, 2010, 01:49:25 AM »
I got these in a random lot that I picked up.

They looked Russian to me, but I couldn't find anything indicating what they were; either American or Russian.

Little one looks like an M24 Chaffee and the big one is the M26 Pershing I'd say. Both late WW2/Korea.

Are they resin or metal?
BF used to make both tanks.I sold about 15 Pershings and 15 Chaffees from BF when I got out of 15mm WW2.

They're both resin... I don't see either on the BF site, unless I'm blind, which is a distinct possibility.

I don't pay attention to the BF stuff anymore much but I'm pretty sure they make the Pershing for late war again. When they went with army books a few years ago they started with mid war and pulled all the late and early figures.
Edit no your not blind I guess they never got around to  redoing it.I never understood why they pulled all those models in the first place when they all ready had them out o_o typical dumb move for them though

Yep, they fought in the Ardennes "Forest," which looks curiously like an open plain.

Not forgetting the mountain tunnels the train runs through and the sunny arid terrain of central Spain eastern Belgium, which is known for an incredibly fast rate of snow-thawing due to its weird and unusual climate.

I am surprised that so many of you made a fundamental mistake though.... this is a King Tiger
