Armoured Recce Troop
« on: August 22, 2010, 07:03:18 PM »
I painted an additional M5A1 from Company B in order to have a troop of armoured recce vehicles for my (reduced) Sherman squadron.

Lovely work. I like all variants of the Stuart, and the M5 variants are among my favourites.

Very nice.

If you ever pick up our forth coming M3A3 Stuarts, and Stuart recce models I'd be very interested to see them all together in a family photo!

You are lean, mean painting machine! :) Great to see you still producing great WW2 pieces.

Looking great Sgt. Perry.  How many vehicles you have painted up now (WWII)??

Outstanding job, Sgt Perry, though from what I've gathered from your website, it's business as usual! Vraiment impressionnant! Like DFlynSqrl, I'd also be interested to know how many WW2 vehicles you've painted so far.

@CompanyB: Would those variants feature the "skirted" track armor seen on British and Commonwealth Stuarts? I couldn't find a preview on your website, so I thought I'd ask.

Yours truly,

Sir Dryden

How many?...

Germany : 20 tanks + 27 vehicles ( HT, Armd Car, Trucks, etc.)
USSR : 16 tanks + 4 vehicles
GB : 22 tanks + 16 vehicles.
US : 6 tanks
France : 2 tanks

I would like to paint additional Tigers, PzIV, StuGIV for the german (and what about early war). I have 3 Su-76 to paint and some IS-2 would be great. I want to add another HT platoon for the british. A reduced squadron of Churchill is a dream. I have M10 to paint but I'm waiting for nice infantry figures (not only in winter gear).

That's quite an impressive collection, especially at the quality level you paint them.  I look forward to seeing some of the future plans you have in the works too.
