The Balitc is less saline than other seas so there's no shipworm and rust develops slower. There's a good chance, should they examine the wreck, they'll still be able to find interesting stuff aboard.

EDIT: 'Admiral Sir Edwyn Sinclair Alexander-Sinclair', there's a posh name for you...

I don't think so. But he is the cousin of General Sir Alexander Alexander Sinclair-Edwyn. His brother's name is Bob.

Names were cheap in those days so rich people could afford to have lots.

They had servants to keep them polished and organized, too, I understand.
