No, and I've never heard about any plans to make the novels into movies. However the free at 12 years makes me wonder if it won't be a little... too harmless.

actually, it is pretty identical to the book but... the animation and the budget were both at ground level...

It's just godawful.  I got maybe five minutes in before I turned it off.

Huge liberties (that spelt right?) are taken with the original text, the animation is on par with american cartoons of the early 90's, the CGI looks like it was done for a launch title for the PS1 and the whole affair is rather shoody.

Even the authors themselves were quite disappointed in the end product, BUT it is DragonLance, and they (and I) hope it would lead into new products for a range abandoned by WotC.
