Looking for (not) Crimson Lance Assassin squads
« on: June 23, 2011, 11:16:51 AM »
I am looking for a some figures in 28mm to make Crimson Lance Assassin Squads form the Borderlands - Secret Armoury of General Knox computer game. For those that are not familiar with the game these are lightly armoured ninja like ladies armed with swords and the occasional pistol. Any recommendations?

Currently playing the Secret Armoury on the 360, I'd say infinity models are the only ones that fit the slim style of ninja ladies.

Abberant Games has some light armoured Ninjas in their Rezolution Range (APAC Faction i believe)
Puppetswar.EU has a Crimson Lance Styled Helmet/Head in the Robotic Head Set
im not familiar with the Infinty Range but it might worth a Look too  ???

Infinity and Abberant are the two I was thinking of too.  Maybe the Female Assassin from Freebooter.

PC's rock!
I recently had my first encounter with a WII and that definitly isn't my thing.
I prefer my keyboard and trusted old MX518 mouse.  :D

This is a really underrated game with a lot of potential for miniatures games.  Please keep us posted on the progress of your project.  Do you have rules in mind?

Not really. I am thinking of a well armed faction for my scifi post apocalyptic setting on Mattblackgod's world. http://www.freewebs.com/mattblackgod/home.htm. I prefer the look and feel of the Crimson Lance to say New Eden/Enclave from Fallout.

My idea is to make a not Crimson Lance (I may use another colour for the lance as the rank and file of the state are already nicknamed 'purple bellies') from a new high tech state that will try to conquer the wastelands.

Dunno,

The setting is cool, but I found it rather repetitive just like saboteur and far cry 2.
And the DLC wasn't worth the money (and I got it cheap because we bought it in packs of 3 on G2play.net)
Best games for now are still Half-Life (the first version) and Fallout 3.

Its a game designed for multiplayer, like Left 4 Dead, only so much larger. So far Im loving it though I need some partners to go through Moxxi's Undersome.
