Looking for plain old Dark Age Women
« on: 29 August 2010, 08:17:05 PM »
I need to find 2 (and just 2) plain old young normal looking women models.  No weapons, not hauling pails or bundles of sticks.  Just a couple plain jane women to represent Viking wives (but anything close will work).

I've found a couple, but they are usually in packs of 5 or 6 bundled with other figures.

I'm in the USA and would like to pay paypal.

Any help is appreciated.

Gripping Beast have some but I suspect they are in packs rather than singles.

Let me know if you'd like to split a pack or 2. I'm always in the market for some more casualties... oops! Civilians, I mean! ::)

maybe this is a possibility?

THose are new ones I haven't seen...but, as usual they are UGLY!  Not ugly minis, just ugly women.  These are the wives of 2 of my players (RPG) and they are both rather small dainty things.  I may just order the camp followers from Irregular miniatures...but then I have to order another 6 pounds worth of stuff to make the minimum shipping.  I love thier miniatures, but there isn't anything I really NEED right now.  Oh well, maybe a camel or two for my next venture ( :-X)

;D who doesn't! But, no, not sluts (which there are plenty of as well) just some "nice looking" women.  The couple of the Celtic women from Warlord Games look nice...but they have weapons.

There are some nice single packs off the Reaper line.

Princess Elenia

That rod she's holding looks like it could be a mirror.

Cecilla the Trickster
http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/02051
Nice looking model, no visible weapons

Mishka the Mystic

I like this one quite a bit.  A unarmed curly haired woman holding a cat.

Kimberlee the Fair

Aside from the big honking book, she wouldn't look to out of place in a medieval setting.

Sarah the Seeress II
http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/03073
This one looks a bit more adventurous, still no visible weapons

Thanks, those are some cool figs...but I ended up ordering the irregular miniatures camp followers.  Since the PCs are froma  small settlement, I really wanted the women to look...welll, sort of poor.  I'll use the one with a baby for hte guy who's wife just told him she was pregnat. ha ha.  6 sessions later...bam, baby!
