Lord of the Rings and Wargame Factory Comparisions
« on: 13 September 2010, 02:31:49 AM »
I finally got around to building a light box.  Still trying to figure out my best camera options, so the pictures are going to be somewhat iffy.  I'm using a old Cannon 3.2 mega pixel.  The camera is mounted on a tripod, and I am shooting about a foot from the figure.  Then I auto adjust the picture in Adobe Photoshop and crop it.  Anyways, here are the photos.  The figures are much lighter and brighter in person.   :-[

A WF Ancient German with a Viking helm.  The other figure is a GW Barrow Wight, done in my original paint scheme.

This is my new paint scheme for the Army of the Dead figures.

A plastic Army of the Dead Specter, yeah I'm just going to call them specters from now on.  He's next too another converted WF Ancient German with a Viking head.  I was going for a Berserker look.

Here is one of the Corsairs of Umbar.  I've got them painted up to be bandits.  Looks pretty good next to the Viking.

Orc from one of the recent plastic kits, the fellow beside him was built just using the WF Viking kit.

Elf from the new plastic kit.  I feel the WF scale quite nicely with the LotR plastic kits.  More to come later.
