So, more please :P What was next ... ? Elites  :D

John's busy expanding the ponyrider set right now, after that it's the command group for the infantry, then the elites. :D

It's taken a long time, but I have limited quantities of the first set available for sale, with more stock scheduled to arrive next week (I hope).

Right, now you've got this out of your system, Chaos dwarves please, (and no bloody stupid big pointy hats!).

They'll go like hot cakes I'm sure!

Great stuff and the price isn't half bad either - waiting for the cavalry for a little mercenary company I'm contemplating although I keep going back to eye the infantry up...

There are already several great alternatives for those. ;)

Renaissance themed Chaos Dwarfs  ??? - that would certainly be something not seen before  :D

But I'm very sure that John Pickford would be interesting in creating some Chaos Dwarfs - and would do a cracking job, too *hint, hint*

I don't doubt it, but there's far too much still left to do to complete the non-chaos dwarf range first.

Hey...you guys quit it...don't distract the man from the task at hand...Puff and slash comes first! (don't tell my MM90s I said that though...they'll be cranky.. :D)

I am happy to report that I got a package from WK yesterday containing the first of what I foresee being many baggies full of lead that I will be getting from him...and stayed up way too late trying to figure out which heads to use with which bodies and weapons...so many options.

The castings are SUPER clean with very minimal flash and all most no mold lines.  The weapons have a few tabs on them but nothing to get too worked up about. there may be a minimal amount of gap filling on some of the head/body combos.  The faces are fantastic and the Puff and slash is too cool.  And though they have looked good in the pictures they look even better when you have them in hand!

I'm already starting to rethink my army from the ground up... ::heretic::

Oh man...and there are pony riders and Great Weapon dwarfs still to come...oh and command groups...too exciting!

Keep up the GREAT work WK and pass along my compliments to John!

Cheers,

Blue

PS.  I hope to be starting a new Blog in the next few days that will follow the painting and development of Dwarf Army and these figures in Particular...stay tuned!

How cruel ;) haven't even got my paypal invoice yet - but can't be long now. And a price I'm willing to pay when asking that huge favour, too.

But will, of course, be looking forward following your work with these, Blue.

Yes, but you're a special case since I need to include some unrelated models too.  ;)

Yeah that's me. So hard to please, but I'm glad you'll give it a try. And I'm confident, that you'll succeed. So, I'll just wait here, patiently ;)

Howdy all,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have just started a new blog...and for the next couple of weeks it will be focusing on my efforts to assemble and paint up some pre-production casts of the next two batches of Core Infantry Dwarfs that WK will be releasing soon.

My blog can be found here: http://bluesmarauders.blogspot.com/

Thanks!  Cheers,

Blue

Since I've now painted two of each body from the first set, I thought it'd be nice to show them side by side to see how different they really look (or not) when used with different bodies and weapons. What do you think?

 :-* :-* :-*

They all look unique...and wonderful!

I'll take this chance to share the four WK dwarfs from the second infantry set that I'm working on now...choosing between the 8 heads was tough... ::heretic::

I should have some painted in a day or two.

Cheers,

Blue
