Posted on FB, however I think may be worth parking them for the moment and get your elves out and about as they will bring in new blood :D

Don't retire them Dwarves, but also don't replace the mould immediately. Concentrate on the other stuff first, you can always replace the mold later on via a pre orders. Possibly put a note on your website, that explains why these won't be available for a while.
Or -should you feel like funding a new project in a few years- sell on the whole range and let someone else worry about the wear & tear.

Yep, I think I'll do that. As for selling on the range, eventually perhaps, but not before finishing it first. ;)

It would be sad to retire the set, but giving it a break for some time might be a good idea.

I would be willing to order more in the future, but right now I already have hundreds of dwarfs that needs painting.

This has inspired me to get an order together. I don't actually need the basic dwarfs but I'm scared of missing out on some others if something similar happens in the future.

Re: WK's Renaissance fantasy project - Proper halfling greens (31/8)

These are the greens for the first two sets in the all-new halfling subrange. Unlike Kev's earlier goblin-to-halfling conversion sets, these are sculpted by Juan Montaņo in a more old-school "short and stumpy" style. You will now be able to choose between fit, slim halflings (Kev Adams) or stumpy, fatter halflings (Juan Montaņo).  In theory, weapons and heads should be interchangeable between the two, though I'll have to put that to the test after moulding.

The whole of the first two core infantry sets. The weapons to the left are intended for the top row of bodies (set 1), the ones to the right are intended for the bottom row of bodies. (except for the bow).

The heads for the first two core infantry sets.

The bodies for the first two sets:

The weapons for the second set of bodies: halberd+shield, spear+shield, sword+shield, twohanded spear, twohanded halberd. The bow and quiver are for set 1.

A better look at the shields: radishes, carrots, tomato...

Hands to go with the bow option on set 1 or for combining the set 1 weapons with set 2 bodies: sandwich, arrows, arrow with skewered apple and a pint.

Your army can't march on an empty stomach. Or on one that hasn't been filled for over an hour. These "extra" rations can be added to figures for more customisation:

Probably not at first, but they'll be included on the moulds for each set, so will come with all the packs. Maybe later on, I'll have some spare room to throw them on another mould for separate availability.

I shall pretend that the food stuff comes with a free pack of Halflings then... bit like a happy meal, just a far better    price performance ratio.
