It's been a while without update for the elves, but here is a preview of 4/5 of the Core Infantry Command set. Sculpting courtesy of Mark Evans as usual.

First, the first of two champion figures, A Sea Elf Captain with interchangeable head (4 head options will be supplied in the set). This one was inspired by the Man With No Name (hence the poncho):


The second champion comes with separate head, separate shieldhand and alternate weapon arms (sword or axe). This one looks rather dynamic, in contrast to the more static pose of the first one. Also shown, one of the additional head variants (with helmet):





Another favourite in this set is the female fifer. The images speak for themselves, really:



Last one for these previews (there is another musician that I will show later), is the standard bearer, shown here with the optional standard pole toppers. The latter have a unifying nautical theme (these are Sea elves after all).

Whats the time line on your releases for the sea eleves, so I can start saving pennies

They keep getting pushed back, but when this batch arrives, I should also have the additional shield variants required for the other sets, so there shouldn't be any more major delays. I'd say March-April.

these elves remind me a lot of the old Grenadier dark elves from the fantasy warriors range -
very promising sculpts from what I can see

The Pointy Eared Ones are suitably chic, dashing, & elegant...LOVELY minis altogether (add a chorus of voices saying in unison "lovely minis"). I love the Babe with the flute. VERY WELL DONE!

Elves are all the more interesting as they can easily pass for humans on the table-top: yours could well appear as a specially elegant, classy 'warband' in Bruegelburg or Mordheim.


In the future, no interest in 18th C. Elves



('Rococo Melniboneans', if with more... subdued ears);

or in Victorian ones, à la Castle Falkentein? Maybe in 'improved' Robida's VSF costume?
