Looking for Blake's 7 Federation Figures
« on: 19 September 2010, 08:28:34 PM »
In the last couple of weeks I was having a gander at a manufacturers website and came across some 28mm figures that will easily pass as Federation troops. Thought I'd saved the link but alas no. I'll try and retrace my footsteps when I get the chance but anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.

I'd saved the link in my Knitting and crochet file.

Glad you found them - brings back many a happy memory - esp of a certain lady in leather  :o

You know most of the ladies sported leather at one time or another - strange how some things stick in your mind more than others...

The closest I ever found where the 15mm figures from Old Crow but they needed a fair amount of work on the visors and only the first pack seem suitable.

As for a Servalan figure - the closest I could get to her would be a Roman civilian female in a light toga though no way could I do justice to the stern face.

For more info can I point you to http://blakes7.wikia.com/wiki/Servalan

are you sure you saw the end of the series? everyone got slaughtered in a Federation ambush, lingering shot on Avon surrounded by troops, fade to black, sounds of gunfire...

that sound more like the end of the third series when the Liberator was infected by 'space goo' and blew up!

Cool series - even with the wobbley sets!

You mean, there was actually more than one?

The one they showed on Danish television back in the 80's was the one starting with Blake suffering from amnesia, some freedom fighters then convince him that he is in fact the leader of the rebels, they flee, and somehow find this alien spaceship, that, after some time, suddenly tell them that it is going to self-destruct, and then does.... boom, end of story.

I was convinced that this was because the show did not have a large enough audience, and that it was just a way to terminate the show for good.

I think the series was actually called 'Terminate Blake's 7', come to think of it....

EDIT: Or 'Eliminate...'
