By the way, the Indostan reports are clearly colonial, so don't have to go in the "Other Adventures" ghetto if you don't want them to.  :)

I was so tempted to post there originally but dared not, considering it a little too early.

But you don't have to ask me twice. Right guys pack it up, we're moving!!

I know it says 19th/20th Century Colonial on the board description, but we're pretty flexible about it. I think Indian SYW, Wellington in India and stuff of that nature have that exotic Colonial feel to them, so we don't need to be too rigid about what gets in and what doesn't based on dates.

That tutorial video series was brilliant! Thanks for pointing those out. It's amazing how simple/easy/fast the game really plays compared to how complex it seems when your first exposure is the rulebook. I hope they make similar videos for some of their other games, and for some more "advanced" topics like blinds.

Sharp Practice is one of those rule sets that is best played to understand, but I would love to see a video on Blinds as well!

The Too Fat Lardies Yahoo Group is also very good for addressing rule concerns and queries.

True  - there's some head-scratching at first read-through, but play a small test-game and most things fall smoothly into place.

I'm surprised they haven't done a "blinds" video too, one of the more vexing ares of the rules  ;)
