Easy Building Interiors
« on: October 26, 2010, 02:11:42 AM »
Although this project applies directly to my Chaos In Carpathia project, I thought the techniques might interest all adventure gamers so I chose to post here instead of the Gothic Horror board. In short, I've created (using MDF and craft paint) some 2-D tiles to represent the interiors of my buildings. They will be laid off-table and models will move on to them after entering the doors and windows of the buildings on the main table.

Lots more photos are full explanation here: http://geektactica.blogspot.com/2010/10/workbench-update-building-interiors.html

Very nice! Does the MDF warp at all?

Looks really good and is a really brilliant idea, are you going to be making a wider selection of furniture for them in the future?

I find that the MDF stays flat, especially at these small sizes. There's more furniture on the way, just have to decided whether or not I will purchase or make.
