Rules Question: Re-Equipping Threshold Starting Weapons

When a Threshold model dies and the Threshold player can re-equip, can they exchange their starting weapons?

The SA rulebook says "Weapons and armour can be added or subtracted from the list at this time..."

However in the Von U Kulten Beta it says "Some profiles come with weapons and gear that do not add BP (Build Points) to the model. These items cannot be sold, traded between cult members or used as bribes. They must stay on the model."

I was wondering if this rule also applies to the Threshold model which come with the .45 and Bowie Knife for free.

Previously one of my Threshold Agents has traded in his .45 for a pair off .22s and another his .45 as part payment for a Double Barreld Shotgun.

All models (in both games...) come with the weapons and gear listed on the profile. These weapons cannot be traded or sold...but, you can buy other stuff as well as...hope that answers your question.
