Here are a couple of painted Uzbeks which have been done for me using Outpost Wargames Khivan tribesman (currently not listed but I am sure Jeff will sell you a few!)

I like 'em!  Looking forward to seeing these on the Outpost website - I'm also hoping that the mounted Cossacks will show up soon as well!

Cute! Bit like nomadic Central Asian garden gnomes,  very nicely painted tho'.

It is the length of coat that gives the illusion of shortness, the style was taken from a contemp photo. see link below;

In that case they would appear to be faithful representations of nomadic Central Asian garden gnomes.  :)
