Encounters of the 15mm Kind

I've finished painting up a platoon of 15mm.co.uk Grey Aliens (composed of a Grey Landing party [including one saucer], a Grey Infantry Team and three additional Saucers). So here is the result:

Just a suggestion, but the figures are a little overpowered by the red bases - maybe use a brighter colour to pickout some detail on the aliens (yes I know they are "greys"  ;)  ), if you want to keep the martian red base colour.  A Matt varnish might help a little to dull down the gloss, as well.

... or maybe highlight the figures with a lighter shade of grey :?
